Aug. 12, 2011
- Treasure Lake Security reported receiving a report of two males shooting out street lights in the area of Bay Road and Adderly Road. Prior to police arrival, security had two boys in custody. They had no weapons and denied being involved. They were subsequently released to their grandparents. When officers spoke to the complainant, she stated that she did not report the boys shooting out street lights, only that she heard bangs and saw flashes.
- A realtor reported a for sale sign that was removed from a Treasure Lake Yard. The sign is worth $70.
- A 59-year-old Treasure Lake woman was traveling on Clear Run Road when a deer jumped in front of her car. She could not avoid the deer. She was uninjured in the accident.
- A Mauthe Road man reported that his estranged girlfriend threatened to burn down his house. Officers were unable to locate the woman.
Aug. 13, 2011
- A 24-year-old DuBois woman reported that her 26-year-old estranged husband was threatening to harm her current boyfriend. The man left the scene and the woman thought he might be intoxicated and have weapons in his vehicle. Officers located the man and determined he was not intoxicated and there were no weapons in his vehicle.
- Employees at Wal-Mart reported that a woman came into the store, went to cosmetics, picked up two items then went to the service desk in an attempt to return them. When the alarm went off the woman left the store with the items.
- A vehicle driven by a 59-year-old Punxsutawney man attempted to overtake a vehicle driven by a 43-year-old Treasure Lake man while pulling into a driveway. The Punxsutawney man hit the other vehicle, causing it to rotate. No injuries were reported.
- A truck driven by a 26-year-old DuBois woman lost a few pieces of wood it was hauling while traveling Shaffer Road. The wood hit a vehicle driven by a 30-year-old Reynoldsville woman, causing minor damage.
- A 24-year-old Treasure Lake woman reported that while at Wal-Mart, she had placed her husband’s prescription in the bed of her truck and when she got home, it was gone.
- Officers were asked to check on an 83-year-old Treasure Lake man when his son in Ohio was unable to reach him. Officers discovered the man in his garage under several items, including a ladder and wood. He was conscious, but complaining of pain in his back and legs. He reported being trapped there since the previous morning. He was flown to Pittsburgh for treatment.
- A 26-year-old Treasure Lake man hit the back of a vehicle driven by a 55-year-old Treasure lake man that was stopped to turn into into Town Center. No injuries were reported.
