Helen M. Patrick, 89 of Hawk Run, passed away on Aug. 8 at Clearfield Hospital.
Born Oct. 8, 1921, she was the daughter of the late August and Veronica (Babinchak) Brilla.
She was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hawk Run, where she was also a Eucheristic minister; she was a past president of the church Alter and Rosary Society; she was a member of the Cursillo and the RICA; she was a CCD teacher for 30 years and a member of the Jednota Lodge.
She was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and working with flowers.
On Aug. 9, 1941 in Hawk Run, she wed Michael R. Patrick, who passed away on Sept. 8, 1977.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and ten brothers and sisters.
She is survived by daughters Dorothy Krese and her husband Albert of Garfield Heights, OH, Barbara Shedlok and her husband John of Garfield Heights, OH, Helen Warren and her husband Harold of Curwensville, and Betty Moran and her husband Frank of State College; sons Michael A. Patrick and his wife Pam of Houtzdale, James C. Patrick and his wife Karen of Gearhartville, and Joseph C. Patrick and his partner Rick Bishop of Alexandria, VA; grandchildren Kelly Shedlok, Tina Warren, Harold Warren and his wife Sandy, Tim Warren and his wife Leslie, Jason Warren and his wife Donna, Christopher Krese and his wife Jennifer, and Michael and Nicholas Patrick; great-grandchildren Joshua, Danielle, Caleb and Madyson Warren, Janae and Kayla Moran, and Elle and Chip Krese; a special Maryka Bach and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was the last of her generation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Aug. 11 at 10 a.m. at the Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hawk Run with the Rev. Robert Horgas as celebrant. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce St., Philipsburg.
A vigil service will be held by Fr. Robert Horgas in addition to the recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
