BRADFORD TOWNSHIP – A Blakeslee man is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia after a stop on Interstate 80.
According to the state police in Clearfield, the stop occurred on Monday around 5 p.m. Police said a search was requested due to 61-year-old Clarence Ryan’s suspicious behavior. A K-9 was summoned, and the dog alerted to the vehicle. A search warrant was obtained and a search of the vehicle yielded 1 ounce of hashish and a half-ounce of marijuana, as well as paraphernalia.
Ryan was charged and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rudell. His heairng is scheduled for Aug. 24.
