University Park, Pa. — The Big Ten Network will air several of the Nittany Lions’ most memorable victories on Tuesday, July 26, with 13 consecutive hours of Penn State programming. Additional Penn State programming will air the mornings of July 26 and 27 on BTN.
The Penn State men’s and women’s basketball, football and women’s volleyball teams will be featured on the third Penn State Day this summer on BTN.
Among the events that will air Tuesday is the Penn State women’s volleyball team’s fourth consecutive NCAA Championship, a 3-0 win over California last December. The match airs at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and will re-air July 27 at 8:30 a.m.
Nittany Lion basketball victories over nationally ranked Wisconsin (4 p.m.) and Illinois (1 a.m.) from last season will air on BTN, as will the Lady Lions’ win over nationally ranked Ohio State, at 10 a.m. That game will be preceded by the final 2010-11 episode of Courtside With Coquese at 9:30 a.m.
The Big Ten Network televised 115 Penn State events during 2010-11, in addition to coverage of 15 Big Ten Championships and institutional programming. Twenty-seven of Penn State’s 29 squads were featured amongst BTN’s more than 600 events in 2010-11.
The Big Ten Network is available to more than 80 million homes through agreements with more than 300 cable, satellite and telco providers in all 50 states and Canada. Pennsylvania cable providers who carry Big Ten Network include: Atlantic Broadband, Cablevision, CATV Service, Comcast, Consolidated Communications, Kuhn Communications, Nittany Media, RCN, Service Electric Broadband, Service Electric Cable TV & Communications, Service Electric Cablevision, Shen-Heights TV, Time-Warner Cable and Windstream.

Multiple Penn State football games will air on the Big Ten Network this fall, including the Oct. 22 primetime clash at Northwestern.
