Harry Paul Powell , 73, of Chester Hill died Wednesday at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born June 15, 1938, he was the son of the late George Albert and Ella Jane (Smeal) Powell. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Philipsburg.
He attended Philipsburg High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Powell is survived by one sister, Isabelle Lumadue of Beech Creek and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Hugh W. Powell and two sisters, Vera Marien and Oma Young.
A Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland with the Rev. Mark Thumma officiating.
Friends will be received from 10 – 10:30 a.m. Monday at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St., Philipsburg.
