Expect alternating traffic pattern, 24-hour flagging and short delays
CLEARFIELD –Starting Wednesday, July 13, Clearfield County drivers will encounter a work zone on state Route 219 near the village of Mahaffey.
Crews will be working to excavate a slide area north of the Mahaffey church camp. Overall work includes excavation, drainage repair, and paving. Work is expected to take about two weeks.
An alternating traffic pattern with flaggers will be in place around the clock (24/7) during the work. Short travel delays are possible. PennDOT reminds drivers to use caution and be alert for flaggers in the roadway. PennDOT expects this work to take about two weeks. All work is weather dependent.
New Enterprises Stone and Lime Co. Inc. is the contractor on this project.
