An incident of harassment was investigated at 9:10 p.m. June 7 at a Union Street residence in Coalport Borough, Clearfield County. A 42-year-old Coalport woman threatened physical harm against a 41-year-old Coalport woman. Charges have been filed against the accused through the district court.
A person(s) shot a hole through a 27-year-old Houtzdale man’s residence with a .22 caliber rifle sometime between 7 a.m. June 6 and 4:30 a.m. Saturday. The investigation continues. Damage was estimated at $25.
A person(s) removed a 36-year-old Osceola Mills woman’s cellular phone from the Lithuanian Club sometime between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. July 3 in Osceola Mills Borough, Clearfield County.
A person(s) damaged an overhead door at a 49-year-old Ramey man’s garage sometime between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Friday. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
The investigation continues into an incident of aggravated assault that occurred at 11:06 a.m. Saturday at the State Correctional Institution at Houtzdale in Woodward Township, Clearfield County. A 20-year-old African-American male who is an inmate at the facility allegedly assaulted another inmate, a 23-year-old African-American male, with a make-shift shank. The victim suffered puncture wounds and was treated by medical staff at SCI-Houtzdale.
At approximately 8:30 p.m. Friday, a lost firearm report was investigated by state police. The firearm was reportedly lost along Pardee Road in Morris Township in the area of the ball fields. It’s a .22-caliber Puma Legacy revolver, Model 1873-SAA with the Serial Number CF-1008358. The firearm was carried in a pink camouflage case. The investigation is continuing into an incident of harassment that occurred at 9:10 p.m. Saturday at the camping area of Curwensville Dam in Pike Township, Clearfield County. A 10-year-old Clearfield girl was walking along the road in the camping area when a male suspect ran out of the woods and grabbed her by the arm. The victim screamed and pushed the male’s hand away, and she was able to run from the suspect who then ran back into the woods. The suspect was approximately 6 feet tall with a stocky build and short dark hair. He was wearing a black T-shirt with a whole around the stomach area and long jean shorts. An incident of theft was reported sometime between 9 p.m. and 12 a.m. July 7 in a wooded area off Empire Road in Morris Township, Clearfield County. Two Winburne males entered the property of AW Long Coal Company, Philipsburg. They allegedly loaded construction equipment parts into a pick-up truck and fled the scene. The parts were valued at approximately $14,000. The next day, they attempted to sell the parts for scrap and were taken into custody without incident at the scrap yard. Both were arraigned before Magisterial Judge Michael Rudella and placed in the Clearfield County Jail.
At 3:36 p.m. Saturday, a 27-year-old Curwensville female reported that during an argument a 31-year-old Curwensville woman shut a door on her arm. Harassment charges were filed through the district court.
At 6 p.m. Sunday, a 43-year-old Clearfield man was traveling along Goshen Road and was stopped for a traffic violation. He was found under the influence of alcohol and placed under arrest. Charges are currently pending against the man.
An incident of burglary is currently under investigation that occurred sometime between 12 p.m. May 31 and 12 p.m. July 5 at a Rutter Drive residence in Beccaria Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) entered and removed approximately $8,000 worth of jewelry from a Coalport man’s garage.
An incident of theft and criminal trespass was reported sometime between 8 p.m. July 2 and 9 a.m. July 4 in a remote wooded area off Sugar Camp Road in Bradford Township, Clearfield County.
