Police Report: Ridgway PSP

An incident of simple assault was reported at 10 p.m. Thursday at a residence along state Route 949 in Spring Creek Township, Elk County. Following an argument, a 60-year-old male allegedly put a 44-year-old Ridgway female in a headlock at which time she bit his arm. He was allegedly scratched several times in the face, and she was struck in the arm by a metal canister that was thrown by him. Charges of simple assault and harassment are pending through the district court.
