Della Marie Harmon, age 92 of West Logan Ave., DuBois, PA died July 3, 2011 at Christ the King Manor.
Born on Nov. 8, 1918 in Blacklick, PA, she was the daughter of the late Daniel L. & Amanda A.(Kinter) Dunlap.
She was married to Paul E. Harmon for 70 years. He survives
She was a 1937 graduate of Blairsville High School.
She had been employed as a beautician in Indiana, PA and had worked at the Penn Traffic Company in DuBois. She was also a dog groomer for many years.
She is survived by 4 daughters ( Carol Ann Brown and her husband Larry of St. Mary’s, PA; Joyce Williams and her husband Benjamin of Harrisburg, PA; Sandra Murray and her husband John of Reynoldsville, PA; ; and Paula Nazimiec and her husband Steve of Ft. Washington, PA) a son ( James Harmon of DuBois, PA) 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was precede in death by her parents, 2 brothers (Clair and Warren Dunlap), a sister (Martha Baker) and a grandson ( Skip Snyder).
Visitation will be held on July 5 from 6-8 p.m. and July 6 from 10 -11 a.m. from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on July 6 at 11 a.m. from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home with Pastor Gina McElwee officiating.Â
Burial will follow in Beechwoods Cemetery.Â
