CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Babe Ruth League 15-Year-Old All-Stars will open the District 8 Tournament against West End of Williamsport Friday at 2 p.m. at the Coudersport Area Recreation Park Field.

The other first-round game pits State College against host Potter/McKean at 5 o’clock.

Clearfield will return Saturday to play Altoona in the winner’s bracket semifinal at 11 a.m. if it beats West End, or the State College or Potter/McKean loser in the elimination bracket quarterfinal if it loses Friday.
Â
The title game, or games, for the double-elimination tournament are set for Monday.
Â
The District 8 champion will move on to the state tourney at Phoenixville later in July.
