- On Friday, a vehicle driven by a 28-year-old DuBois man attempted to turn onto South Main Street but failed to yield to oncoming traffic. His vehicle struck another driven by a 17-year-old DuBois girl. The female applied her brakes, causing her vehicle to skid off the roadway and through a yard before coming to a rest in bushes.
- A 32-year-old New Bethlehem woman was caught by Wal-Mart employees attempting to remove five DVDs without paying for them on Friday. The woman had two children with her and had allegedly removed the plastic wrap from the DVDs and placed them in her purse.
- A 17-year-old DuBois girl was traveling too fast on Clear Run Road and lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a curve on Friday. Her vehicle then left the roadway, traveled down an embankment and overturned onto its side. No injuries were reported.
- On Friday, officers responded to a dispute between two, 23-year-old women at an Oklahoma Salem Road residence. The dispute was primarily verbal, and officers handled the situation without incident.
- Members of the West Liberty Baptist Church reported that a neighbor had disregarded survey posts on the property lines and driven a vehicle through their yard on Friday. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- An 18-year-old DuBois man was observed by Wal-Mart employees attempting to remove $114.88 worth of merchandise without paying on Friday. Retail theft charges have been filed.
- False alarms were reported at both Lowe’s and Sears.
- On Saturday, a small, red car struck a utility pole at the intersection of Salada and Hungry Hollow Roads before leaving the scene.
- A Kilmer Road man reported on Saturday that a $400 money order was removed from his home. He suspected two males who had been living with him had taken it. The man called back later and reported the money order had been found.
- A 51-year-old Euclid Avenue woman reported on Saturday that a strange vehicle was in her backyard. Upon investigation, it was determined to be her daughter and some friends.
- A false alarm was reported at Joanne Fabrics on Saturday.
- Officers assisted emergency medical services in gaining access to a residence at Garden Grove in order to treat and transport an injured man on Saturday.
- On Monday, a 46-year-old Brockway woman reported that her vehicle was damaged, while it was parked at the DuBois Mall.
- A DuBois man reported on Monday that several bags of trash had been thrown out along Breck Road on Monday.
- A tractor-trailer driver was backing his truck into a parking space at Pilot when he struck and caused minor damage to another parked there on Monday.
- On Tuesday, officers responded to an outdoor fire off of Juniata Street Extension that was started by an unknown person. The investigation is ongoing.
- Clarion Inn employees reported on Tuesday that a 37-year-old DuBois woman was in a room after check-out time and refused to leave. Officers handled the situation without incident. Â
