No injuries were reported after a hit-and-run accident that occurred at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday along state Route 53 in Bigler Township, Clearfield County. A 37-year-old Punxsutawney man was traveling north when his vehicle went off the right side of the roadway. His vehicle subsequently swiped the guiderails and continued north without stopping. The man was cited for accidents involving damage to unattended property.
An incident of theft from a motor vehicle was reported sometime between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Deer Creek Road and River Hill Road in Graham Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) removed a red, leather wallet from a 41-year-old Frenchville woman’s 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, while it was parked there. Several credit cards and the woman’s driver’s license were in the wallet. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
