CLEARFIELD – PennDOT has posted a weight limit restriction on a Clearfield County bridge on state Route 3009 in Brady Township. The bridge is located south of the village of Troutville and spans the East Branch of Mahoning Creek.
Vehicles exceeding the posted weight limit of 15 tons or 20 tons for combination vehicles must use an alternate route. The decision to post the new weight limit was the result of a recent inspection. The bridge was built in 1938; is 52 feet long and carries an average of 271 vehicles per day.
