Harry John “Skip” Myers Sr., 78 of Osceola Mills, passed away on June 21, 2011 at his residence.
Born May 6, 1933 in Nanticoke, he was the son of the late Carl J. & Sarah M. (Williams) Myers.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Roger Allan Myers; sisters Dorothy Maurer, Sally Sallurday, Joyce Hayward; brother Carl J. Myers Jr.; and grandson Josh Wilson.
He was a grinder for a Lime Plant in Niagara Falls, until his retirement.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He was an avid fan of Steeler football and Pirate baseball and enjoyed watching high school wrestling.
A veteran of the US Army he served during the Vietnam Era.
Funeral Services will be held at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St. Philipsburg on June 25 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Timothy D. Richmond officiating. Burial will be in the Philipsburg Cemetery, where military honors will be conducted by the Moshannon Valley Independent Honor Guard. Friends will be received at the funeral home on June 24 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.
