An incident of burglary was reported sometime between 4 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. Tuesday on Terry Street in Rush Township, Centre County. A person(s) entered a 43-year-old Philipsburg man’s garage and allegedly removed approximately 100 feet of coax cable and 50 feet of electrical wire. The person(s) also entered the man’s vehicle and allegedly removed approximately $3 worth of change and fled the scene via vehicle. Total stolen is estimated at $63. A hit-and-run accident was reported sometime between 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Weis Market in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. An unknown vehicle struck a parked, cream-colored 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, while it was parked at Weis Market. After impacting the parked vehicle, the unknown operator fled in an unknown direction. The paint transfer appeared to be black or brown in color. An incident of marijuana/drug paraphernalia is being investigated after troopers were called Tuesday to Second Street in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. Drug paraphernalia was reportedly discovered at a residence and subsequently seized by state police.
An incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime between 2:30 p.m. and 2:55 p.m. Tuesday on Water Street near Centre Bearing in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A 33-year-old man had his 1991 Chevrolet Van, which was blue in color, parked at the aforementioned location. After leaving his vehicle parked for a short time, he returned to reportedly find his gas cap missing and his vehicle running as if someone had put something into the gas tank.
