CLEARFIELD – The Lawrence Township’s Recreation Park may be locked up at night.
In the face of continuing vandalism the Lawrence Township Board of Supervisors considered possible solutions to the problem at the Tuesday meeting. Recently flowers that had been planted at the park had been pulled out. Edward Brown lamented the hours the township and volunteers had put into the park only for such events to keep happening.
“We would like the public’s help,” said Brown.
He mentioned that people who provided tips to the police would not have their names revealed. The possibility of having cameras installed at the park, even if just a trail camera, were considered.
