- A known 47-year-old Philipsburg woman was arrested for simple assault after an incident that occurred at 6:50 p.m. Friday on Hudson Street in Decatur Township, Clearfield County. A known 52-year-old Philipsburg male and the woman engaged in argument over a cigarette roller. The argument allegedly became heated and escalated into a physical altercation when she struck him in the face with a phone. She was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Michael A. Rudella. She was released on bond.
- An incident of theft by unlawful taking is being investigated that occurred sometime between 3 p.m. Nov. 27, 2010 and 6 p.m. Thursday along Lyleville Road in Beccaria Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) removed a Winchester 32 leaver action, model 65 special rifle. The rifle is black in color and doesn’t have a scope. It’s valued at approximately $1,000. - A hit-and-run accident was reported at approximately 5:45 p.m. Thursday along Interstate 80 westbound near mile marker 127.2 in Graham Township, Clearfield County. An unknown tractor-trailer and a vehicle driven by a 68-year-old Julian woman were traveling when the tractor-trailer entered her vehicle’s lane. Her vehicle was then struck on the passenger’s side with the trailer. After impact, her vehicle vacated the left lane and overturned on the southern portion of I-80, while the tractor-trailer continued traveling west.
