CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Borough Police Department is looking to bolster its ranks with a couple of part-timers.
Chief Vincent McGinnis asked council for permission to advertise for the two positions at Thursday night’s Clearfield Borough Committees meeting. McGinnis indicated that he could see an immediate need for the two officers in the near future.
The police department is still looking to bolster its ranks with full time positions, but is awaiting on the Civil Service Commission. Council President Jim Leitzinger indicated that the Civil Service Commission is taking its time and being prudent.
