Police Report: Philipsburg PSP

An incident of harassment is being investigated that occurred 3 p.m. Monday near Spruce and Sixth Streets in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A physical altercation was reported to have occurred between a 9-year-old male and an 8-year-old male on the school bus. The latter male was allegedly punched in the face during the same. The victim didn’t want to pursue criminal charges, and no citations will be filed.
Minor injuries were reported after a single-vehicle accident at 12:43 a.m. June 1 along state Route 453 at Vulcan Road in Bigler Township, Clearfield County. Eric Jon McClelland, 30, of Ramey lost control of his vehicle and traveled off the roadway, striking a utility pole and street sign. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident. He suffered minor injuries to his arm. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. The accident investigation is ongoing at this time.

A physical altercation reportedly occurred between a 13-year-old male and a 12-year-old male. Neither party wanted to pursue criminal charges, and no citations will be filed.
