On Tuesday, a 25-year-old Hanes Drive woman reported she was being harassed via text messaging by her 27-year-old brother. Officers contacted both parties and handled the situation without further incident.
On Tuesday, a 26-year-old Treasure Lake man lost control of his vehicle due to speed on Bay Road. His vehicle subsequently crossed the road and struck an oncoming vehicle driven by a 43-year-old Treasure Lake man. Both operators were injured and transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
On Tuesday, a 20-year-old DuBois man reported that while working at Bucks Pizza, someone backed into his vehicle. There was damage to the hood and headlight. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
On Wednesday, a 25-year-old Falls Creek woman reported she was being harassed by a 46-year-old Rockton man who had been an acquaintance until he began following her and calling constantly. On the aforementioned date, he came to her place of work and caused a scene. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
On Wednesday, officers responded to a domestic dispute on Tozier Avenue. At arrival, they could hear yelling and items being thrown around the residence. When officers attempted to contact the residents, a 48-year-old man became aggressive toward and attempted to swing a bat at them. The man refused to stop when directed to by officers. He was then tasered to be subdued and taken into custody. Alcohol was believed to be a contributing factor.
On Thursday, a Treasure Lake man reported that his two dogs, a yellow lab and a German, short-haired pointer, were missing.
On Thursday, a 54-year-old Hanes Drive woman reported that her vehicle was struck and damaged by a neighbor. The 29-year-old woman then left the scene. Officers contacted the latter woman and handled the situation without further incident.
On Thursday, a Treasure Lake man reported that when he came home from vacation, he discovered someone had shot and damaged his home’s air-conditioning unit.
On Thursday, a 24-year-old Sandy Township woman reported that when she pulled out of a parking space at Wal-Mart, a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old Sandy Township man struck hers, causing minor damage.
