PHILIPSBURG – The death of a Philipsburg man has been attributed to natural causes.
According to the state police in Philipsburg, police were contacted due to an unresponsive man at Philipsburg Towers. Emergency medical services arrived and it was determined that the man, 70-year-old Paul R. Beaston, was dead. A preliminary investigation indicated that he had died due to natural causes. The Centre County Coroner’s Office responded and determined that no autopsy would be performed.
