Obituary Notice: Mary S. Ettaro

Mary S. Ettaro, 89 of Clearfield died on May 31, 2011 at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on Dec. 5, 1921 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Nick and Rose (Gardina) Ettaro. 

Miss Ettaro was employed by the former McGregor Sportswear, Clearfield as a machine operator for 15 years. 

She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield where she belonged to the Rosary and Altar Society. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America Court #498. 

She is survived by a brother:

      Samuel A. Ettaro and wife Millie                         Clearfield

;Two nieces and three nephews;

Two great nieces and two great great nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers Charles, Russell, Anthony and Philip Ettaro, and one nephew.

Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Friday at 10 a.m. Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr.  as celebrant.  Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday from 9-9:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Francis Church, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield.
