FALLS CREEK – A warrant has been obtained for a 24-year-old Falls Creek man who has been accused of holding a knife and threatening a woman during a domestic assault Tuesday in Falls Creek, Jefferson County.
The DuBois-based state police identified the man as Joseph Dean St. Clair, 24, of Falls Creek and formerly of the Blairsville and Latrobe areas.
According to the report, St. Clair allegedly initiated a domestic argument with a 23-year-old Falls Creek woman. He proceeded to assault her and held a knife to her side at which time he threatened her.
The victim sustained numerous bruises and marks and also complained of pain in various parts of her body, police said. Charges for terroristic threats, false imprisonment, simple assault and harassment were filed.
A warrant has been obtained for St. Clair, whom is considered violent. The accused is from the Blairsville and Latrobe areas and moved to Falls Creek in April 2010. He currently doesn’t have access to a vehicle.
St. Clair has been described as standing 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 140 pounds. He has brown eyes and short brown hair. He also has a hoop jewelry piercing in the middle of his bottom lip, police said.
