HYDE – Bellefonte registered 21 hits, including two home runs and five doubles, against three Clearfield American Legion team pitchers while a trio of Bandits combined for a three-hit shutout in the 18-0 non-league win at the Bison Sports Complex Monday afternoon.

The visitors, playing their first game because of the high school playoffs, batted around in two innings, scoring five runs in the second and 10 in the fourth when 14 Bandits went to the plate.

Zach Moerschbacher paced Bellefonte with five hits, one a solo home run in the third inning.

Eric Regel and Brandon Quay each had three safeties, while Chuck Beaston, Matt Watson and Robert Gummo added two apiece.
