SANDY RIDGE – State police in Philipsburg are searching for a motorist following an incident along state Route 350 on Wednesday.
According to police, an Altoona man was traveling on SR 350 when a black Suzuki Sidekick passed him in a no-passing zone. The Sidekick was reportedly driving erratically, passing in no-passing zones and forcing vehicles off the roadway, as well as “playing games” with a white minivan. The Sidekick then got in front of the Altoona man and slowed down, forcing the Altoona man to slow down. The driver of the Sidekick then opened the driver’s side door and pointed a “long gun” toward the Altoona man’s vehicle.
The Suzuki then fled in the direction of Philipsburg.
