Two Philipsburg males were accused of removing property from Kephart’s Hardware and then attempting to return the items for a refund at 2:45 p.m. Friday. The two accused fled the scene but were identified by employees. Charges were filed at Magisterial District Judge Allen Sinclair’s office.
A truck belonging to a 17-year-old Houtzdale male was observed parked on property posted as no trespassing at the end of Hale Road. Charges were filed at Magisterial District Judge Allen Sinclair’s office.
A person(s) burglarized the Rush Township Municipal building sometime between 4:15 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 a.m. Friday. Once inside the person(s) reportedly removed three chain saws, six gasoline cans, one box of cotter pins, one box of grease fittings, a set of jumper cables and $10 in cash.
