Curwensville- Starr Hill Winery recently acquired the first German-made cross flow filtration system in the US.
The system, XF-1 has been on the market internationally for years and has just been introduced to the US market according to ROMFIL’s CEO, Hans-Joachim Schulze.
“We are extremely excited to have this technology for the Winery,” said Kenn Starr of Starr Hill Winery. “This system will allow us to to continue clarify and filter the wines in a one step process not taking away any flavor or color from the wines and continue giving a better product to the consumer.”
