Floda L. (Fink) Shirey, 86, of Clearfield passed away on May 13, 2011 at the Clearfield Hospital.
Ms. Shirey was born on April 16, 1925 in Clearfield, PA, the daughter of the late Leroy and Glenolen (Patterson) Fink.
She retired after 20 years from the Clearfield Area High School as a cook.
She was a member of Centre Grove United Methodist Church.
Ms. Shriey is survived by two sons; Scott M. Shirey and his wife, Jennifer of Virginia Beach, VA and Dennis A. Shirey of Clearfield, three grandchildren; Aaron A. Shirey, Dustin S. Shirey, Jade I. Shirey, two sisters; Idabelle Campbell and her husband, Edward “Hump” of DuBois and Jacqueline Fowler of Williamsport, PA.
She is preceded in death her parents, her husband Walter M. Shirey whom she married on June 14, 1952 in Clearfield and who passed away on Feb. 6, 2003; a granddaughter Janaka Shirey and a brother, Robert Fink.
At the request of Ms. Shirey there will be no public visitation or viewing or service.
