WINSLOW TOWNSHIP – Members of the DuBois, Clearfield, Punxsutawney and Ridgway-based state police conducted a sobriety checkpoint from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. Saturday along US Route 322 in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.
During the checkpoint, troopers contacted 85 motorists. There were three driving under the influence arrests as well as nine other traffic citations; three written warnings; and one seatbelt citation, the state police said.
Details will be held throughout the Troop C area at various locations during the year.
