During the month of March, Penelec employees in Clearfield, Philipsburg and DuBois raised money and collected food as part of the annual ‘Harvest for Hunger’ program. This year employees raised over $1,400 for local food banks. Penelec began the Harvest for Hunger program in 2002 and locally have collected more than $12,000 over the past 10 years.

Area food banks have been struggling to meet the increasing needs of local residents. Community support is needed now more than ever. For more information on how you can help, please call Community Action at 814-765-1551.
