Peter Fundack, 82, of Madera, died at 12:05 a.m., April 23, 2011 at Ridgeview Elder Care Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville, PA.

He was born on June 10, 1928, in Madera, a son of the late Metro and Nancy (Colybanish) Fundack.

He attended the Bigler Twp. High School and served in the US Navy in WW II.

Mr. Fundack was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ramey.
Â
He worked for the railroad in Niagara Falls, NY and later in the coal strip mines.
Â
Mr. Fundack is survived by a sister, Ethel Dudurich of Irvona and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four sister, Mary Glusco, Madeline Palardy, Annie Lloyd and Katherine Capatch; three brothers, infant Michael Fundack, John Fundack and Andrew Fundack.

Friends will be received at the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc on April 27, from 9 – 10 a.m.
