Donald J. Brocail, 78, of Osceola Mills passed away on Friday, April 22, 2011 at his residence.
Born December 31, 1932 he was the son of the late Charles and Louella Brocail.
He was a member of the Osceola Mills United Methodist Church, Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, and member of V.F.W Post 5020, Osceola Mills.
Mr. Brocail retired as a Corrections Officer for SCI Smithfield, Huntingdon. He also worked as a stone mason.
In 1952 he wed Dorothy Brocail whom survives at home. He is also survived by two daughters, Cheryl Hrenko and her husband Patrick, Sr. of Clearfield and Melissa Shaw of Philipsburg; two sisters, Carol Martin and her husband Leonard of Houtzdale, Janice Hughes of San Diego, CA; a half-sister, Lenis Kenjora and her husband Randy of Philipsburg; a step-sister, Rhetta Jackson and her husband Kenneth; a brother George Brocail and his wife Annice of Osceola Mills; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and three step-greatgrandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Osceola Mills United Methodist Church with the Pastor Jennifer C. Heikes officiating. Burial will be held in the Umbria Cemetery, Osceola Mills.
