In one particular incident, the caller hung up when asked for further information. Residents are advised not to provide any personal information unless they’re certain of the person’s identity and affiliation with their said agency.
- Police received information about a possible drunk driving offense. Officers were informed of the offense after the motorist had returned home. The investigation is ongoing.
- Police fingerprinted a suspect in an ongoing theft investigation.
- Police assisted a motorist whose child locked the keys inside the car.
- Police reported a possible driving under the influence incident. Officers stopped the vehicle and later released the driver to a friend.
- Police assisted the Clearfield Borough Police Department with an erratic driving complaint. The vehicle was stopped by township police in the borough; however, the original call was in the state police’s area. The driver is known by police.
- Police were called to the Edgewood Apartments for a reported black bear being inside a garbage dumpster. Officers will be contacting the Game Commission, as there has been numerous reports of this bear causing damage in the area.
