CLEARFIELD – On Thursday evening Clearfield Borough’s Personnel Committee took action to give them options in who they bring onto the police force.
The committee approved requesting that the civil service put together two lists; one for people with five or more years of experience who would serve as an assistant chief, the other for patrol officers.
The police force has been serving without an assistant chief since Vincent McGinnis was appointed chief earlier this year.
