Emma Lou Myers, 67 of Philipsburg RD, passed away on April 11, 2011 at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.
Born August 11, 1943 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late William Grant Myers and Rachel Elizabeth (Eyerly) Myers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Dorothy Gallaher Soltis and Patricia Butterworth and brother Robert J. Myers.
She was a 1961 graduate of Philipsburg Osceola High School.
She was a dietician at the former Presbyterian Home of the Moshannon Valley for 34 years and retired from Rockview State Correctional Institute where she was a Food Service Supervisor for 7 years.
She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Philipsburg.
Funeral Service will be held at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 215 Laurel St. Philipsburg, on April 15 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Gerald A. Krum and Rev. Jonathan A. Schnibben officiating.
Burial will be in the Philipsburg Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St. Philipsburg, PA on April 14 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. and at the church on April 15 from 10-11 a.m.
