Police accompanied a local service provider to disconnect service to an area residence that remain unpaid for services.
Police are investigating an act of criminal mischief that occurred overnight in Kerr Addition. A resident had mud and debrise thrown on his vehicle. The investigation continues.

Police received a report of a local scam. A local resident who advertised the sale of used furniture was contacted by an out of area potential buyer who sent a check for more money than was asked for. The buyer then wanted the difference sent to an unspecified Western Union address. Residents should use care when buying or selling on the internet. Scam artists are viewing legitimate sites to find individuals to target.
Police were called to Lawrence Park Village for a verbal domestic.
