Punxsutawney — The Clearfield Bison boy’s tennis team competed in non-league action against District 9 rival Punxsutawney on Monday afternoon and was swept 9-0.
Only number one singles player Ian Bookhamer avoided a straight set loss when he lost a marathon match on a third set tie-breaker 7-5, 3-6, 7-10.
With the loss, the Bisons dropped to 1-3 on the season.
They will continue non-league play on Wednesday when they travel to St. Marys to play Elk County Catholic.
