Short traffic stops are possible
CLEARFIELD – Work continues on PennDOT’s Route 830 project near Falls Creek. On Monday, April 11, beams will be set for the Wolf Run Bridge. Traffic may be stopped for short periods of time as beams arrive on the work site and are set in place. Drivers should be alert for slowed/stopped traffic and should anticipate travel delays.
The work zone stretches from the Route 219/Route 830 intersection near Sheetz to Falls Creek. The overall project includes bridgework, addition of a turn lane on Route 830; installation of a new signal at Larkeytown Road intersection; upgrade of railroad signal; and improvements to the merge lane and entry lane at the Route 219 intersection.
H.R.I., Inc. of State College is the contractor on this $4.7 million job. All work is weather dependent. PennDOT expects the project to be complete by mid-May.
