Rebecca C. ‘Becky’ Glass, 34, of Clearfield died Friday at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center – Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born on Nov. 24, 1976, she was the daughter of Victoria (Ogden) Wootton of Clearfield and the late Dr. Lawrence Wootton and David A. Glass and his wife, Dorothy of Morrisdale.
She was a licensed manicurist and insurance agent. She had also been employed at the Susquehanna Veterinary Clinic, Clearfield and worked as a volunteer at the Allegheny Spay and Neuter Clinic, Clearfield. She will be remembered greatly for her love and passion for animals of all kinds.
She was a member of the Mount Joy United Methodist Church, Clearfield. She was a devoted volunteer with the Make A Wish Foundation, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Center for Organ Recovery and Education (CORE).
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her fiancé, Christopher Hoover of Clearfield; two brothers and four sisters, David S. Glass and his wife, Suzanne of Clearfield; Charles A. Wootton of Saltillo; Janeice Robold and her husband, Christopher of Bensalem; Melanie Dunlap and her husband, Paul of Philipsburg; Sheila Weatherly and her husband, Nathan of Cranberry and Stacey Fisch and her husband, Tom of Kylertown.
Also surviving are her maternal grandfather, Carl Ogden of Clearfield; paternal grandparents, David and Vivian Glass of Goshen; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her step-father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Letitia Ogden.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Mount Joy United Methodist Church, Clearfield, with the Rev. Kenneth J. Leonard officiating.
Friends will be received from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. Monday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, and from 10 – 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
