“Many of our students are native to the Clearfield area and we would like to offer them the opportunity to explore volunteer, internship or job opportunities in the Clearfield Area,” said Dana Springer, Lock Haven Clearfield graduate assistant for the SLRC. “We also plan to increase the amount of participants by advertising the career fair to the local high school seniors and the community-at-large.”
The career fair is open to the public. Anyone attending the fair is encouraged to bring copies of their resume and references for the employers and vendors.
Some of the businesses and organizations attending are Fastenal, DuBois Regional Medical Center, State College Spikes, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Clearfield YMCA, Forever Broadcasting, Clearfield County Recreation and Tourism Authority, First Media Radio LLC, and Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging, Inc., just to name a few.
