Jeannette E. Swales, 88 of Clearfield died Thursday at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
Born March 29, 1923, she was the daughter of Raymond D. and Ethel L. (Ogden) Rowles. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Swales is survived by her husband, H. Arnold Swales of Clearfield; two children, Gregory A. Swales of Penfield, and Deborah K. Northrup of New Hampshire; two grandchildren, Timothy Burris of New Hampshire and Andrew Swales of DuBois; and one great-granddaughter.
She was the last of her generation and was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Vada Frantz.
At the request of Mrs. Swales, there will be no public viewing or visitation. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to charity of donor’s choice.
