Rita M. Wilkinson, 76 of Curwensville, passed away on April 2, 2011 at her home.
Born Aug. 11, 1934, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen (Panko) Mayersky.
She was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church in Philipsburg and was the owner of Wilkinson Subaru in Curwensville.
On April 25, 1953 in Curwensville, she wed Richard A. Wilkinson, who passed away on Oct. 25, 1999.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sisters Sylvia Donahue and Patty Green.
She is survived by grandchildren Travis Goodman and his wife and Kaitlyn Wilkinson and great-grandchild Jayden Kucas of Curwensville; daughter Linda Wilkinson and her companion Kent Forbush of Curwensville; sons Allen Wilkinson and his wife Kathi of Curwensville and Rick Wilkinson and his companion Wendy Elensky of Curwensville; and sisters Ethel Mayersky and Marilyn Mayersk, both of Grampian.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on April 5 at 11 a.m. at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Curwensville with the Rev. Father Mark Mastrian officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Curwensville. Visitation was held on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills and at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
