Eldon F. McGarry, 75, of Erhard, RD Madera, passed away at 11:00 a.m. on April 4, 2011 at his residence.

He was born at Boardman on April 12, 1935 a son of the late Garfield and Ruth (Pallo) McGarry.
Â
He was a member of the Fruit Hill Presbyterian Church and served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War.

Mr. McGarry worked for the former Benjamin Coal Co., he also was a former school bus driver for the Clearfield School District and was care taker of the Fruit Hill Cemetery for over 20 years.

He is survived by a niece, Karen L. Condon of Erhard and a number of nieces and nephews
Mr. McGarry was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ivan S. McGarry on April 1, 1990 and Donald M. “Yum” McGarry on Aug. 18, 1997.

Friends will be received on April 6, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc., Madera and on April 7 from 1-2 p.m. at the Fruit Hill Cemetery Chapel, New Millport. Â

Interment Services will be held in the Fruit Hill Cemetery Chapel on April 7 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Thomas A. McCoy officiating. Interment will follow in the Fruit Hill Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to: condolences@kruisefuneralhome.com
