Police Report: Ridgway PSP

Police reported the illegal transportation of municipal waste to the Veolia Greentree Landfill at 7:07 a.m. March 30 in Fox Township, Elk County. A 28-year-old Mahaffey man transported municipal waste in a manner that caused a hazard to public safety or welfare. The man transported waste in a truck that wasn’t completely sealed to prevent debris or liquids from escaping during transit. A non-traffic citation was filed through the district court.
