Lee Williamson, 79, of Philipsburg died Friday at his residence. He was the last member of his generation.
Born July 30, 1931, he was the son of the late Sidney and Velma (Strange) Williamson. He was affiliated with the South Philipsburg Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
Mr. Williamson was a veteran of U.S. Army, serving in World War II.
He was a 1949 graduate of the Philipsburg High School. He was employed with the Pennsylvania American Water Company until his retirement.
Mr. Williamson first married the former Lois Rumberger, whom preceded him in death. He then married the former Rebecca Tormey, whom survives, of Osceola Mills.
He’s preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Robert and Vernoy Williamson; and two sisters, Rachel Moyer and Virginia Shimmel.
He’s survived by several nieces and nephews.
Neither a funeral service nor a public visitation will be held.
The Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, Philipsburg, is serving the family.
