E. Delores “Dee” Miceli, 74, of Luthersburg died Friday at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born on June 30, 1936 in Caledonia, she was the daughter of the late Harry W. and Edith D. (Ives) Gray. Mrs. Miceli was a homemaker and was the owner of Sammy Dee’s Resale Shop.
She was a member of the Post 813 Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary La Societe De Femme (40/8). She enjoyed camping.
She wed Samuel Miceli on Oct. 12, 1996. He preceded her in death on Oct. 11, 2010.
Mrs. Miceli is survived by two daughters, Tami Tripp and her husband, Norm of East Springfield and Marti Handley of Luthersburg; one son, Harry Rhoads of Weedville; one step-daughter, Lisa K. Cuthbert of Weedville; and one step-son, Dana Cuthbert of St. Marys.
Surviving are 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She’s also survived by three brothers, Harry Gray, Lamont Gray and Milton Gray and one sister, Thelma Swachhammer, all of whom are of Weedville.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death one brother, Ernest Gray; one sister, Kathryn Gray; one great-granddaughter, Mercedez Friend; and one great-grandson, Curtis Strange.
There will be no public visitation.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Park Lawn Memorial Garden Cemetery, Ridgway with Pastor Chris Ramsey officiating.
Burial will follow in Park Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
