Officers issued citations on Wednesday to two, different Treasure Lake residents regarding their dogs. An incident involved a pit bull leaving the owner’s property and attacking and killing a cat. The second incident involved a Rottweiler being aggressive toward children who were waiting at the bus stop.
A Clear Run Road resident reported that her dog, a mid-sized brown mix, broke loose from its “tie down” at the residence and ran from the yard on Thursday.
A vehicle driven by a 57-year-old Huntingdon woman turned into the path of another driven by a 20-year-old DuBois man while entering Treasure Lake on Thursday. Both vehicles were towed from the scene; no injuries were reported in the mishap.
A 23-year-old Hanes Drive woman on Thursday reported that she had returned home from the mall and discovered someone had entered her residence, ransacking it. Nothing appeared to be missing at the time. The investigation is ongoing.
Police reported a false alarm at Old Navy on Thursday.
