Frank Lazeration, 82, of Ginter died at 10:00 p.m. on March 23, 2011 at his residence.
He was born on March 19, 1929 in Ginter a son of the late Stephen and Anna (Lashinsky) Lazeration.
He was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ramey and was a self-employed Carpenter.
Mr. Lazeration was twice married, first to Irene Sokal Lazeration on Sept. 30, 1950, she preceded him in death on July 8, 1998. He then married Mary Chutko Buynak Lazeration at Christ The King Catholic Church on Sept. 5, 2000, she surivies of Morann.
Mr. Lazeration is survived by four children; Stephen F. Lazeration of Brisbin, Kathleen “Kathy” M. DuFour and her husband Robert of Ginter, Susan I. Miller and her husband Anthony, Sr. of Whiteside, Frank T. Lazeration and his wife Tracy of Houtzdale and a step daughter, Theresa Jacoby and her husband Brian of Houtzdale.
He is also survived by nine grandchildren; Michelle Mital and her husband David, Tammy Hamm, Robert DuFour, Jr. and his wife Jessica, Bryan DuFour and his wife Kristin, Joseph Lazeration, Anthony Miller, Jr. and his wife Michele, Christopher Miller and his wife Lindsey, Courtney Yarger and her husband Christopher, Kyle Lazeration; two step-grandchildren, Alexis and Kurtis Jacoby and seven great grandchildren.
He is also survived by nine grandchildren; Michelle Mital and her husband David, Tammy Hamm, Robert DuFour, Jr. and his wife Jessica, Bryan DuFour and his wife Kristin, Joseph Lazeration, Anthony Miller, Jr. and his wife Michele, Christopher Miller and his wife Lindsey, Courtney Yarger and her husband Christopher, Kyle Lazeration; two step-grandchildren, Alexis and Kurtis Jacoby and seven great grandchildren.
Mr. lazeration is also survived by two sisters and a brother; Christine Bendos of Altoona, John Lazeration and his wife Esther of Ginter and Ann Daniel and her husband Paul of RD Houtzdale.
In addition to his parents and first wife, Mr. Lazeration was preceded in death by the following siblings; Kathryn Lazeration, Susan Wasilko, Helen Bankosky, Mary Bendas, Madlyn Kechisen, George Lazeration, infant Joseph Lazeration and Paul Lazeration.
Friends will be received on March 27, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Monday from 8:30- 9:30 a.m. at the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc. Ramey. A Parastas service will be held on Sunday at 7:00 PM in the funeral home with Fr. Anthony Balistreri.
Funeral Services will be held on March 28 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ramey with Fr. Anthony Balistreri officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Osceola Mills.
