Sarah C. Delp, age 90, of First Street in DuBois, PA died March 22, 2011 at her residence.
She was born on Oct. 21, 1920 in DuBois, PA. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Deminski) Zdroski.
On May 3, 1947 at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, she married Charles W. Delp. He survives.
She was a self-employed beautician for many years.
She was a lifetime member of the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
She was a graduate of Sandy High School and was very active with the Sandy High School Alumni.
She is survived by her children, Charles Delp and his wife, Sue of Hermitage, PA and Linda Weaver and her husband, Tom of DuBois, PA, six grandchildren (Jayne Hershberger, Shari Gordon, Sahlee Jean Volosky, Nicholas Delp, Christopher Delp and Megan Delp), and five great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Visitation will be held on March 24 from 4-8 p.m. at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home.
A Scriptural Wake Service will be held on Thursday evening at 7:45 p.m. from the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on March 25 at 10 a.m. from the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Fr. David Foradori as celebrant.
Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery.
