At 1:32 p.m. March 16, police responded to a domestic dispute between a father and daughter in the first block of West Long Avenue. No arrests were made as a result of the incident.
At 3:47 p.m. March 16, a DuBois woman reported she’d received a phone call from someone who stated she was with a fire foundation. The caller allegedly attempted to obtain credit card and bank account information. When the information wasn’t provided, the caller hung up.
An alarm was reported at 11:51 a.m. March 17 in the 400 block of Beaver Drive. Officers found everything to be secure.
Police reported an incident of trespass at 12:57 a.m. March 18 in the 100 block of South Church Street. Someone reportedly entered the complainant’s resident, while they were sleeping. When confronted, the perpetrator ran out of the residence.
Police reported theft from a motor vehicle at 2:36 a.m. March 18 in the 300 block of West DuBois Avenue. Unknown person(s) allegedly ransacked a vehicle and removed an article of clothing.
Police reported a domestic dispute at 3:09 a.m. March 18 in the 100 block of East Scribner Avenue. A pregnant woman and her boyfriend were allegedly arguing over another woman. The pregnant female was transported by ambulance to the hospital for evaluation since she was extremely upset.
Police reported motor vehicle theft at 8:38 a.m. March 18 in the 600 block of West Long Avenue. Sometime overnight, a person removed a 1996 blue Ford F-150 from the complainant’s driveway.
Police reported a runaway juvenile at 8:56 a.m. on Daly Street. A 16-year-old male allegedly fled from a juvenile facility and was located by police on West Long Avenue. He was transported back to the facility.
Police reported an accident at 6:51 p.m. March 18 on Liberty Boulevard. Two vehicles were involved; no injuries were reported, however. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Police reported an incident of theft at 7 p.m. March 18 in the 200 block of West Long Avenue. A DuBois woman reported she was at an establishment the evening prior and her keys were stolen by an unknown male.
Police reported an alarm at 7:46 p.m. March 18 at Breezewood Behavioral on Beaver Drive. The rear door was found open, and officers checked the business, reporting nothing out of the ordinary. The open door was secured by police.
Police reported a domestic dispute at 1:42 a.m. Sunday in the first block of South Highland Street. A female and her boyfriend were arguing; he left before police arrived. Officers found the female attempting to break up a fight between two pit bulls and deployed tasers on the dogs upon the owner’s request. An officer suffered a bite while assisting the female with controlling her animals.
Police reported a domestic disturbance at 5:58 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Main Street. A woman and her boyfriend were arguing over dinner. No arrests were made as a result of the incident.
